Mobility opportunities within UNITE project

UNITE Project (UpgradiNg ICT excellence by strengthening cooperation between research Teams in an enlarged Europe) is a EU-FP7 funded coordination action, gathering 5 institutions that are committed in increasing the level of excellence of ICT research across an enlarged Europe by promoting active secondment to research teams and strengthening cooperation in community supported research on Enterprise Interoperability (EI), Enterprise Software Applications (ESA), and the novel research domains of the “Future of the Internet”. The project aims to support the flow of skilled people among universities, research institutes, and business-related companies between countries of the old member states (EU15) and countries of the new members states (EU27). One solution to acquire and disseminate knowledge in such a framework is to meet other partners in multiple environments, during a period of time, depending on the experience of the researchers through this mobility programme.

Secondment with UNITE
The UNITE project aims to support the flow of skilled people among universities, research institutions, and business-related companies between countries of the old member states (EU 15) and the countries of the new member states (EU 27), and vice-versa.

Topics of Interest
Secondment and networking activities will be conducted in three sub-domains identified from the objectives of the “Future of the Internet”, namely the Internet of Services (IoS), the Internet Things (IoT), and the other areas from the Future of the Internet (oFI) gathered in a sungle sub-domain.

What Will Be Funded?
Group 1 (1000 €/month): Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia
Group 2 (1100 €/month): Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain
Group 3 (1250 €/month): Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Sweden, UK Secondment Grants also cover way and return travel expenses.
